Young Philanthropists Donate to Community Foundation Fund

June 25, 2009: At the Eshman/Randall Memorial Golf Classic on June 12, young philanthropists Madison Spingola-6, Alex Spingola-4, and Ryan Orr-6 raised $205 at their lemonade stand, while Tyler Craney-14 raised $640 at the par 3 closest to the hole, Beat the Kid competition. Their donations benefit The Stephen J. Eshman and George E. Randall Memorial Fund held by The Community Foundation of Frederick County. The Fund honors the memories of Eshman and Randall, who both succumbed to brain tumors, by awarding grants for medical research and assistance for patients with brain tumors.
