Former County Commissioner Donates to
Citizens Care & Rehabilitation Center and Montevue Home Funds
May 16, 2008: With community donations
nearing $300,000, former Frederick County Commissioner and Maryland
State Delegate Anita Stup showed her support for the expansion and
renovation of Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center and Montevue
Home by donating to the two Funds held by The Community Foundation of
Frederick County. Shown here are former Citizens Care board member and
Fund co-founder Don Linton, Community Foundation Trustee Karlys Kline,
Anita Stup, and Charles Trunk, former Citizens Care board member and
Fund co-founder.
Both Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center and Montevue Home have
been serving Frederick County citizens and seniors for decades.
Citizens Care provides short and long-term rehabilitative care, and
Montevue Home is an assisted living facility currently serving 60
residents. An expansion and renovation of both facilities is presently
underway to better serve Frederick County residents.
