Green-Walled Garden Club Donates to
Friends of Citizens Care & Rehabilitation Center and Montevue Home
Fund
May 23, 2008: Frederick’s Green-Walled
Garden Club recently donated $10,000 to the Community Foundation’s
Friends of Citizens Care & Rehabilitation Center and Montevue Home
Fund to ensure beautification of the grounds of the County-run
facilities, scheduled for renovation and expansion pending approval of
the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners. Pictured from left

Citizens Care board member and Fund co-founder Don Linton, and
Community Foundation Trustee Kate Costlow.
Both Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center and Montevue Home have
been serving Frederick County citizens and seniors for decades.
Citizens Care provides short and long-term rehabilitative care, and
Montevue Home is an assisted living facility currently serving 60
residents.
