Grants Support Archery Program at Kemptown Elementary School

FREDERICK, MD – June 2, 2017: Kemptown Elementary School will soon have a National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), thanks Kemptown Elem Archery Grant small jpgto a grant from The Davey Long and Mike Compton Memorial Fund, one of more than 679 component funds of The Community Foundation of Frederick County.

The grant was matched by the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), Monocacy Valley Chapter. NASP was developed to help improve student motivation, attention, and focus, and also to teach outdoor skills, resulting in character and self-reliance.
