Ethics-based Leadership Training Provided by Frederick Police Department Endowment Fund Grant

FREDERICK, MD – March 30, 2017: Two hundred police officers and other civilian personnel participated in a training session titled Fred Police Grant small jpg“Coping with Change & Adversity: Ethics-based Leadership.”

The training session was made possible in part by a grant from The Frederick Police Department Endowment Fund, one of more than 679 funds managed by The Community Foundation of Frederick County. The training was presented by Dr. James T. Reese, an internationally known expert on stress management, leadership, workplace violence, and motivation, and formerly a pioneer criminal profiler with the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit. Participants learned the fundamentals of how ethics-based leadership creates a stronger leader while also allowing one to be a better follower.
